Leapers LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company operating as "Dances" ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Dances platform at dances.ai (the "Service").

By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account as a property owner or co-host, we collect your name, email address, and profile image through our authentication provider (Clerk). We do not store your password — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Property Information

We collect details about properties you add to the platform, including property name, address, geographic coordinates, timezone, and property type.

Cleaner Information

When property owners add cleaners to the platform, we collect the cleaner's name, phone number (optional), email address (optional), and preferred language. Cleaners do not create accounts — they access the Service through secure token-based links or one-time passcodes.

Photos and Images

We collect two types of photos: baseline photos uploaded by property owners as reference standards, and verification photos taken by cleaners during the cleaning verification process. Photos may contain metadata such as capture timestamp and camera information (e.g., flash usage, camera direction).

Job and Verification Data

We collect data related to cleaning jobs, including schedules, completion times, AI-generated confidence scores, AI feedback, cleaner notes, and owner review notes.

Billing Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer identifier, subscription identifier, plan type, and billing period dates. We do not store your credit card number, bank account details, or other payment credentials — these are managed entirely by Stripe.

Booking Data

If you connect a calendar feed (iCal), we import booking summaries, check-in and check-out dates, and event identifiers to automate cleaning job scheduling. We do not access your full calendar — only the specific feed URL you provide.

Temporary Access Data

We generate temporary one-time passcodes (OTP) for cleaner access. OTP codes are associated with an email address and expire after 10 minutes. We also generate secure tokens for verification job links that expire after a configurable period (default: 48 hours).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the Service — manage properties, schedule jobs, facilitate photo verification, and deliver results
• AI Analysis — send photos to AI services to evaluate cleaning quality against your baseline standards
• Communications — send transactional emails including verification links, OTP codes, job notifications, and co-host invitations
• Billing — process subscription payments, track usage, and manage your account
• Automation — create cleaning jobs automatically based on your calendar bookings and automation settings
• Translation — translate platform content into your preferred language using AI-powered translation
• Improvement — understand usage patterns to improve the Service (we do not sell your data for advertising)

4. Data Retention

We retain your information as follows:

• Account data — Retained while your account is active. When you delete your account through your authentication provider, we delete your user record and remove associated co-host access records and pending invitations.
• Job assignee data — Email snapshots and assignment records are automatically deleted 90 days after a job reaches a terminal state (approved, rejected, or canceled).
• Photos — Retained as long as the associated property or job exists. Photos are deleted when the corresponding property or job is removed.
• OTP codes — Expire and are cleaned up automatically within 10 minutes of creation.
• Booking data — Retained while the associated calendar feed is active and the property exists.
• Translation cache — Cached translations are retained indefinitely to reduce redundant processing.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use only essential, functional cookies required to operate the Service. These include:

• Authentication cookies — Set by Clerk to manage your login session
• Application cookies — Set by Convex for real-time data synchronization

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party marketing trackers.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission
• Cryptographically secure tokens (256-bit) for cleaner access links
• Token expiration windows to limit the duration of access
• OTP rate limiting (maximum 5 requests per hour per email, 3 incorrect attempts before lockout)
• Webhook signature verification for all inbound third-party data
• Role-based access controls for co-host permissions

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@dances.ai.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion — Request deletion of your personal information
• Portability — Request your data in a portable format
• Objection — Object to certain processing of your information

9. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. We will take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
